About
Eliud Mungai is a venture builder and an early stage investor with over 10 years of entrepreneurial experience in digital financial services, retail technology, and development finance.
He is currently an entrepreneur in residence at Antler working on founding a startup.
As a Limited Partner at Startup Wise Guys, he sources and evaluates pre-seed B2B SaaS startups in Africa to invest in and admit into the accelerator program. He also connects other limited partners into the Wise Guys Africa Fund, which aims to support local entrepreneurship and innovation in the continent.
Previously, he was the Managing Director of SaaS Africa at Startup Wise Guys, where he led the recruitment, growth, and mentorship of 16 portfolio startups, and adapted the program content to suit the African market. He also invested in operator LP syndicates for the best founders, angels, and VCs in Europe through EUVC and Startup wise Guys Challenger Fund II.
Eliud is passionate about promoting blockchain technology, developing entrepreneurship skills, and advancing social impact. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, with a focus on entrepreneurship. He also holds multiple certifications in leadership, finance, and entrepreneurship from various platforms.
